MerlinVet-cel is the country’s oldest veterinary buying group, providing support for independent veterinary practices of all sizes across the UK and improving businesses’ profitability through competitive rebates, ongoing support, and reduced administration costs. MerlinVet-cel aims to improve our member's profitability by reducing the cost of their purchases on pharmaceuticals and other goods and services, by negotiating the very best discount terms possible from our partners and by reducing our member's administration costs. We want to support independent veterinary practices with our reliable and transparent service.
Formed in 1984 by veterinarians, membership of MerlinVet-cel is open to all UK-based veterinary practices and we’re proud to include members throughout the entirety of the country, representing all areas of the profession from small animal practices to some of the largest farm practices in the UK. We offer assistance to our members in all aspects of their daily business, but the main benefit is the ordering of ‘best price’ products from all major wholesalers in the UK to achieve considerable savings for our members. Through MerlinVet-cel you have online access to monthly statements, online ordering, and communication with the MerlinVet-cel community.

MerlinVet-cel is part of MerlinVet Group, which also comprises a bespoke wholesaler, import/export business, health plan provider, and anaesthetic gas exposure monitoring service.
By listening to the needs of vets, we provide products, services, business solutions and, above all else, the support needed to add a touch of animal magic to practices. MerlinVet UK stocks an extensive range of Special Import Products that other wholesalers are unable to source, providing solutions to vets in times of stock shortages. We offer a customised pharmaceutical service, importing pharmaceuticals and farm fertility equipment to UK vets. Our range includes the Pulsator V, the most advanced electronic bull ejaculator available, and the Ram E-JAC, a battery-operated self-contained electro-ejaculator designed for collecting semen from small ruminants, designed, developed, and delivered by MerlinVet.
